Responsibilities:
Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Drive a variety of vehicle types including belly dump, in-dump and tandem on designated routes.
Deliver gravel/debris to multiple locations while ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify safety and readiness; report any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries.
Communicate effectively with management to coordinate routes and address any delivery challenges or delays.
Looking for drivers who can work 50hr workweeks.
Skills:
Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL A license.
Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks confidently and safely.
Experience driving belly dump, in dump, & tandem required.
Strong knowledge of route driving strategies.
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections regularly.
