The Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion Pedal takes distortion beyond any reasonable level into nuclear-powered high-gain insanity. To apply some measure of control over the madness, the three-band EQ is augmented with a mid-frequency knob that lets you move the peak of the mid boost (or mid cut) up and down the frequency spectrum, emphasizing the exact range that fits your playing best. Included a sheet showing some of the most used presets.
