As a member of our team, you'll be instrumental in the operations of commercial solar farm sites. You'll take charge of operating machinery on uneven outdoor remote solar construction sites to load and unload trucks, stage materials and move trash containers.
We're currently looking for a LOCAL to El Paso and surrounding towns. If you, or anyone you know, are within 50 miles - WE WANT YOU!
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing equipment checks prior to operating the machinery each day
Operating/maneuvering forklift to unload trucks and move materials to the field
Operating forklift safely, especially when in close proximity to workers on foot
Operating forklift safely in uneven outdoor terrain
Ensuring equipment is safely and securely stored when not in use
Cleaning, maintaining and making basic repairs to equipment
Coordinating with crew members with basic equipment operating hand and/or audio signals
Ensuring safety comes first - always!
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Class 7 Rough Terrain Equipment Certification is required; expired certifications may potentially be validated through a verifiable reference
OSHA 10 Certification
Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to meet additional screening requirements and pass a drug test when applicable
Knowledge of basic equipment operation hand signals
Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus
Verifiable references of professional skills and work history/resume
While tools will be provided onsite, please come ready with steel or composite-toed boots and hot/cold weather gear

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $25.00 - $25.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
