El Paso Window Co Inc is seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in historic wood window restoration to join our growing team. This role involves refurbishing, repairing, and restoring original wood window frames on specialty and historic projects throughout the city.
Responsibilities
• Restore, repair, and rebuild original wood window frames and sashes
• Remove damaged wood, replace sections, and ensure proper structural integrity
• Sanding, trimming, and adjusting windows for proper operation
• Install glazing, putty, and weatherproofing
• Maintain clean workmanship and follow project specifications
• Work safely and efficiently on active construction sites
Requirements
• Proven carpentry experience (wood window restoration preferred)
• Skilled with power tools, sanders, planers, routers, etc.
• Knowledge of glazing techniques is a plus
• Ability to read measurements and follow supervisor instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full time
