Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and perform timely repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
Inspect facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, and equipment.
Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and other building systems as needed.
Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and maintenance machinery safely.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of parts and supplies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Assist with facility improvements, equipment installations, and special projects.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors when outside repairs or services are required.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures.
Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations, including occasional overtime or on-call responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certification in industrial maintenance, electrical or related field.
OSHA safety training or certification.
Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift certification.
